September 9, 2018: Photographed for the Our Democracy project, this is a homemade greenhouse in the middle of Detroit. Mark Covington runs the GSCC Urban Farm in Detroit, his childhood neighborhood. Not only does Mark Covington's Urban farm provide a neighborhood connection to nature, it also takes back the community from the environmental racism and blight that surrounds it.
